Helsinglight AAiR - Artist Apartment
Our alternative Artist in Residence program, Helsinglight AAiR, welcomes creative people and cultural workers from all over the world to stay and create at Helsinglight. If the apartment is available during your FX Workshop and you wish to rent it, please contact us for pricing details.
The apartment includes a bedroom with an en-suite toilet and a big bunk bed that can accommodate up to three people. In the main room, there is a cozy living room, a dining room, and a kitchenette. The kitchenette is fully equipped, and there is also a beautiful wood-burning stove. Additionally, there is a smaller artist workspace located next to the living room. The shower is located in a separate room near the apartment, and the nearest food shop is 10 minutes away by car. If you don't have your own car or rental car during your stay, we can arrange a collective trip to the grocery store.
Dormitory Accommodation at House of Helsinglight
When you book an FX Workshop with us, you can choose to stay in our budget dormitory accommodation at House of Helsinglight for 350 SEK per night. All you need to bring is a towel. Our dormitory room is located in one of the old classrooms and can accommodate up to 12 people. During your stay, basic cooking options such as hotplates, microwave ovens, a coffee machine, and a toaster are available. There is also a fridge and a washing machine for your use. The shower is located on the second floor, and the nearest food shop is 10 minutes away by car. If you don't have your own car or rental car, we can arrange a collective trip to the grocery store.
