SFX Silicone Mask Making workshops this summer at Helsinglight

We're so excited! We've decided to finally launch our SFX Mask making workshops to be held at our beautiful Helsinglight SFX Makeup Academy in Sweden. It is time to open up the doors to our magical Helsinglight. The first workshops in SFX Mask making will be held 5 - 15th of July this summer! Do not miss out on this opportunity! 5-15th of July - First 10-day SFX silicone mask making workshop at Helsinglight

We're working around the clock on renovating the first floor at Helsinglight castle. We're working towards the deadline to launch open our Art Gallery at Helsinglight with the grand opening night 29th of June! We then decided to open up the opportunity to visit Helsinglight this summer and attend a 10-day silicone mask making SFX workshop!! An opportunity to be part of our creative history, to learn the art of mask making in our awesome castle and enjoy the beautiful Swedish summer at the same time.

Workshop schedule

• Day 1 - Thursday: Intro, design, sketching and adding base of clay to your sculpture.
• Day 2 - Friday: Sculpting - rough design.
• Day 3 - Saturday: Sculpting, smoothing out the rough design and start of detail work
• Day 4 - Sunday: Sculpting final details, seal & release sculpture. Building dry wall
• Day 5 - Monday: Building of clay wall, keys and molding side A
• Day 6 - Tuesday: Building of clay wall, pry-marks and molding of side B
• Day 7 - Wednesday: DAY OFF!
• Day 8 - Thursday: De-molding, cleaning mold and preparing for silicone casting.
• Day 9 - Friday: Silicone Casting - measuring, mixing and colouring silicone, brush on into mold. De-molding, cleaning up silicone mask, seaming and patchwork. Preparing mask for airbrush.
• Day 10 - Saturday: Airbrushing your silicone mask using silicone colors!
• Day 11 - Sunday: Professional photoshoot of your final design and character.

This workshop is located in the beautiful countryside in Hälsingland, in the mid north Sweden! It is very easy to travel here, we're located only 2,5 hours north of Stockholm Arlanda Airport. Travel by train or bus to Hudiksvall city, we will pick you up from there and drive 30 min to the workshop location. We can also help you out with advice on accommodation during the workshop.

The workshop is held in multiple languages both Swedish and English.
