We're working on and planning many projects at the same time. One of them is setting up a program for Alternative Artists in Residence at Helsinglight, (AAiR).
We're based on the beautiful countryside in Hälsingland, mid north of Sweden. Stunning nature literally around the corner. We've been digging deeper into the subject of nature and wellbeing and we keep finding studies and research pointing to the facts that being around nature can lower stress levels, boost your mental health, innovative thinking and creative process.
Also a growing amount of studies suggests being around and hanging out in nature can also boost your immune markers, happiness and focus. This is something we want to dwell even deeper into since this is part of our idea for our creative retreat and Alternative Artists in Residence at Helsinglight.
On the second floor in our house there is a small apartment that we will turn into both an artstudio / artist in residence creative space/apartment. This creative space we will rent out to artists who would like to get away and create in a artistic and stunning environment at our beautiful Helsinglight. There will be possibilities to exhibit artwork/perform in our art gallery as well as organising or be part of workshops/classes etc if one wishes to do that. We will look into these details later on.
