Group 3 has finished their creative challenge and we are excited to present to you their final photos of the character created. The theme for their challenge was to create a whimsical, trickstery little hare in clay. A hare with magical abilities that lives in the deep dark forests of Helsinglight. We also gave them the story about the Swedish folklore legend the “Milkhare” to get inspired from how to write their storytelling. When we have presented the final work by every creative challenger/contestant in group 3 we will announce the winner of the group that will advance and compete in the finals later on. The whimsical, trickstery little hare “Kori” by Olga Maksimenko
Thank you again for letting me take part in this challenge. It's been great to get to try something new and be part of creative process during this awful lockdown time. It's really cheered me up.
Kori
Kori is a reliable servant to his creator - witch. He has seen a lot and and has served as milk hare to many masters.
Although Kori is always prepared for a job and will get things done, he does have a small weakness. It is the sweet bark of the birch trees that grow deep in the forests of Helsinglight. Often, on his way back to his owner, he will stop for a quick snack and reminisce:
“It used to be different before, you now... Simpler times. Simpler jobs. Your master tells you to go steal some milk from the cows of that mean old hag from across the hill. It was a no brainer - you go to the cow, you get the milk - you come back. Easy peasy.. But now… now! Ooh let me tell you, these new trends… Do you know what the master asked me this time? Low fat, extra froffy, almond or soy milk? I mean what kind of cow is that? Soy? Is that a breed? Or almond? How do you even milk an almond?
And how is a cow able to put milk in little plastic cups?..
Times are changing, I’m telling ya..
