Green Stuff World Silicone Putty is platinum silicone that can be easily mixed and applied by hand. Mix it in equal amounts (1A:1B) by volume.

Green Stuff World Silicone Putty is a platinum silicone that can be easily mixed and applied by hand in equal amounts (1A:1B by volume). It has a working time of 2.5 minutes and a curing time of 10 minutes. With very low shrinkage (0.03%), it becomes exceptionally strong and durable after curing (tear strength of 6 N/mm) and can withstand temperatures up to 150ºC.

This versatile silicone putty, is ideal for making fast impressions of almost any surface, as well as for creating orthotics, jewelry, and more. To prevent inhibition, use only vinyl or nitrile gloves, as latex gloves can contaminate the silicone and prevent it from curing. Inhibition can also be caused by tin-cured silicone, sulfur or sulfur-containing compounds, certain types of wood surfaces, newly cast polyester resins, epoxies or urethane rubber.

We always recommend performing a small-scale test first to check the compatibility between the silicone rubber and the surface. Apply a small amount to a non-critical area of the pattern. Inhibition has occurred if the rubber is rubbery or uncured after the curing time has passed.

This set contains 200gr of Green Stuff World Silicone Putty (100gr PartA + 100gr PartB).

    2. Make an impression of what you want to cast, see pictures for inspiration.
    3. Wait for 10 minutes until the silicone has fully cured and then remove the silicone mold from the model, and your casting mold is ready.

    Storage

    • To store silicone putty properly, it should be kept in an airtight container in a cool and dry place. Ensure that the container is tightly sealed to prevent air from entering, which can cause the putty to dry out or harden. It is also important to keep the putty away from direct sunlight and heat sources, as this can affect its consistency and quality. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for storage and shelf life to ensure that the putty remains fresh and usable for as long as possible.
