  • Description

    Grimas Cake Make-up is a basic make-up that is easy to apply. Cake Makeup is used in TV, film and photography and is the base for water makeup . Cake Make-Up is matte and does not need to be powdered, but if you want to achieve a look with an extra matte surface, you can add Grimas makeup powder. Also fits very well as a base/substrate for water make-up. The 35 g product is very generous and is enough for about 50 faces.

    There are many shades and colors in the Cake Make-up series; black, white, cream white, gray and a wide range of skin color shades from light to very dark. Cake Make-up is not available in other colours. The advantage of grimace cake make-up is that you get a smoother and better result if you use it as a base before applying grimace water make-up.

  • Usage

    Application

    1. Use a brush or makeup sponge and a little water to soften the surface. Cake Makeup can be applied directly to clean and not too oily skin. This makes the cosmetics adhere better to the skin and makes the result more durable. You can also advantageously first apply a layer of Grimas Cleaning Lotion to remove fats from the skin. If you have dry or sensitive skin, you can also use Grimas Under Make-up Base .
    2. If you don't want different colors to mix, wait until it has dried before applying the next color. This takes about 15 seconds.
    3. Change the water you wash your brushes in regularly and feel free to use two different bowls of water: one for light and one for dark colors. Do not work too dry but also not with too much water.
    4. You can also apply Cake Make-up to hair, with the exception of treated hair (dyed, bleached or permed). To apply an even layer to the hairs, we recommend using a toothbrush.
    5. To get a smoother and finer result with Grima's water make-up, you can advantageously apply Cake Make-up first as a base.

    Removal

    1. Wash the skin with lukewarm water and soap. Do not scrub too hard as it can irritate the skin. Rinse with lukewarm water.
    2. If necessary, you can clean the skin once more with Grimas Cleansing Milk, Cleansing Lotion or Make-up Remover . Then massage gently and wipe off with a cotton pad.
    3. Hair colored with Cake Makeup can be cleaned with shampoo.

    Storage

    Store the product in a dry, dark and cool place.
