Group 2 has finished their creative challenge and we are excited to present to you their final photos of the character created. The theme for their challenge was to create a mischievous, crafty little squirrel in clay. A squirrel with magical abilities that lives in the deep dark forests of Helsinglight. When we have presented the final work by every creative challenger/contestant in group 2 we will announce the winner of the group that will advance and compete in the finals later on.
The mischievous, crafty little squirrel “Tyko” by Beatrice Gomér
Tyko
Tyko, a distant relative to Ratatosk had always been curious and kind... But folk still saw him as a mischievous fellow. He'd liked to tease everysquirrel, which not all could tolerate. Especially when you try to tease the king of mischief himself, Loke. Where even the tiniest pranks does not go unpunished... Not even a woopie cushion. With an all to powerful spell Tyko had found himself bound to the very same path Ratatosk tracked. Up and down the vast tree of Yggrdasil. Delivering messengers between the different worlds... Yet Tyko still found himself able to enjoy his little punishment. With teasing, fooling and pranking somesquirrel he met. Not to harm, cause kind he still was. Proud he were, because who could say... That they've succeeded to prank a king of mischief themselves... With just a woopie cushion?

It's been a really fun process, sometimes stressful but educational at the same time. I've never worked with this kind of clay before, but I really do like the texture and how you have to work with this material. I'm really glad that I could be part of this challenge. And now I would like to sculpt more in the future, cause its almost like therapy... For me in any case.
